Playa del Secreto benefits from natural protection and efficient management, making it less affected by the uncontrolled arrival of seaweed compared to other beaches in the Riviera Maya.

Even though this phenomenon has affected the Riviera Maya during the summer months for the past few years, we consider ourselves lucky, as our beach experiences significantly less seaweed than many others. Additionally, it is usually a temporary issue that tends to appear and disappear quickly, depending on the ocean currents.
