Rent a Car:
If you are getting a car for a week or more, book it at least a week out and get it at the airport. All the big companies are represented at the airport. We usually book our cars on Travelocity or Expedia (use the Canadian versions (.ca) if you are from Canada) and go with the cheapest option.

CancunValet.com. Cost aproximately is $85 US one way or $130 round tripOr use BEST DAY valet service.
Taxi:
Book a taxi at one of the booths on the way out of the airport. Cost is about $55US per taxi, up to 4 persons. It will cost about $35 when you go back to the airport from Playa del secreto.
Public Transport:
Book it at the booth on the way out of the airport. Cost is about $15-17 US per person to PLAYA DEL SECRETO. Two companies, Grey Line or Greenline. Booths are just outside the airport at the bottom of the ramp.
Cheapest Way to go to Playa del Secreto (if you don't have to much lagguage)
ADO BUS SERVICE from CANCUN AIRPORT TO P.TO MORELOS terminal bus beside the seven eleven than you take the TAXI beside of OF THE "SEVEN ELEVEN STORE" it cost 15usd (the way) and in only 5 minutes you are in PLAYA DEL SECRETO.
SUGGESTION IF YOU ARE RENTING A CAR:-
1- DO NOT BUY ON LINE ENSURANCE ( they want you buy their own mexican ensurance )
2-CHOOSE ONLY 1 DRIVER (less expensive)
3-CHOOSE BASIC ENSURANCE
P.S gasoline station ATTENTION once you paying with 500 pesos (red color) they try to cheat you and say you gave them only 50 pesos instead (red color to), so be sure to pay them when you say I gave you 500 pesos ok?
last thing, when you put diesel always looks that the column starts from 0 !! and they put the amount of money or (liters of gasoline you requested or payed for).
